Do you accept insurance?

I will provide you with a receipt (Superbill) for reimbursement if you have out of pocket benefits.  I encourage all clients who want to do this to call their insurance company first to make sure your benefits apply.

Below are helpful questions to ask your insurance regarding your out of network options:

  • Do I have "out-of-network" mental health coverage?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is my deductible and has it been met this year?
  • What is my "co-insurance?"
  • How many sessions per year am I covered for?
  • What is my coverage amount per session?
  • Do I need approval from my primary care physician to begin therapy?

Do you offer video or phone session?

I offer video sessions using a HIPPA-compliant version of Zoom.  This form of treatment is most appropriate for older adolescents and adults.  I also offer phone sessions, although these are normally not reimbursed by insurance.  

What is your intake process like?

The first step in working together is scheduling a 15-20 minute phone consultation.  After completing the phone call, and assuming we’re a good fit for each other, I can schedule you directly for your first session and complete an intake.
